I will forever live by words heard often from my Grandmother. She always said “if you’re not learning, you’re not living.” Little did Grandmom know, she was a believer in svadhyaya (self-study), the 4th niyama stated in The Yoga Sutras (and described beautifully here by Judith Hanson Lasater) .
